My name is Joycelynn Jim, I am of two who came to water, I am born for the towering house clan. My maternal grandfathers are of bitter water. My paternal grandfathers are of the meadow people.

I am apart of the Navajo Nation tribe in northern New Mexico, near the four corners area. I am 22 years old, and a proud dog mom of one.

I have always been inspired & intrigued by the beauty & hard work, that goes into making jewelry, by watching my parents growing up who were silversmiths. 

To me creating jewelry/artwork is a form of medicine/therapy. Creating helps my mental health, it helps me keep a calm steady mindset. It is a medicine that isn't provided by a doctor, but comes from within when you combine the mind, body and spirit.
